  • Session 1: State of The Nation. 10.30 - 11.15

Stadium shows are thriving, while many venues and festivals are barely surviving. The live music industry in 2024 is a complex space to navigate, so this session will see experts present a conversation around the current state and economic climate of live music, and what's to come in 2025.

  • Session 2: What do you want from me?! 11.15 - 12.00

Our panel takes a new and practical look at how to sustain working relationships and set-ups. In this session, we'll explore what agents and managers need to enhance their teams and output, as well as digging into the resources available to freelancers and small businesses to help them navigate the industry.

  • Break

  • Mental Health Lounge

An open 1-hour Mental Health Lounge for any conference attendees to talk about their mental health with members of the Tonic Music mental health team. The lounge is not an additional exhibition stand, but rather a designated space for attendees to gain information, advice and support for themselves. It will enable attendees to sit in a comfortable environment, away from the networking at the conference. As part of the mental health lounge, bespoke resources will be available for attendees to read and take home.

  • Session 3: Started at the bottom now I'm...here? 12.15 - 13.00

What are the key considerations when building a project, or launching a business? How do you find the right people to work with? How do you know you're on a path to success? And how do you stay excited, engaged and well throughout your journey? We chat with founders, investors and entrepreneurs to get answer these key questions.

  • Lunch: 13.00 - 14.15

Complementary lunch available for all ticket holders.

  • Peer-To-Peer Sessions

A bookable 1-hour Peer Group Session for up to 15 conference attendees, facilitated by a Tonic Music psychotherapist who has significant experience working in the music industry. The session will include an opening question provided to participants beforehand (e.g, ‘How has your working week been?’), to help initiate the conversation between participants. There is no set topic for the session, but discussion will revolve around mental health and the music industry in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

  • Session 4: Boycotts, ethics and representing your values. 14.15 - 15.00

From climate to equality, politics to economics, more and more artists are using their platforms to address key societal issues. What can managers and agents do to make sure their artist's ethics are represented in their work, performances and beyond? And how can we encourage artists to be the best version of themselves in confronting political and social settings? We explore resources and measures that can be put in place to ensure that artists and their representatives are equipped to confidently, safely and successfully safeguard their stances.

  • Session 5: The Audience Pipeline. 15.00 - 15.45

The live music market is as packed and competitive as ever, so how are artists and their teams finding, developing and engaging their audiences?
